Our Story
The history of the organization traces back to the time when the pioneer of the company, Shri Dulal Chandra Paul, more popularly known as D.C. Paul, was engaged in service at Howrah in West Bengal. The Honourable Ex-Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy had undertaken the venture of developing this then-swampy area, with brackish water, into a residential locale. Situated at a close proximity to Kolkata, the district of Howrah was to be transformed into a region with homes for the middle and higher income masses.
D. C. Paul diversified his activities in the year 1969, when he built a few homes in the planned city of Salt Lake, Kolkata. His creative pursuit, complemented by the structural stability of his constructions, resulted in the creation of a trail of satisfied clientele. His architectural vision that took the shape of affordable yet peerless residences brought in loads of acclaim from reputed personalities. This acclamation motivated him to construct many more landmarks that have gone on to acquire apex position among the best creations in the construction arena of India. Shri Uttam Kumar Paul, the youngest son of D. C. Paul has made major contributions towards these achievements through great sacrifices. He has been continuing the endeavours of his father ever since the year 1989.

Uttam Kr. PaulUttam Kumar Paul is an alumnus of the premier Architectural Institute of Manipal (batch – 1988), Karnataka that is under the jurisdiction of the Mangalore University. During his architectural education he acquired the skills of implementing the innovative and creative yet pragmatic construction solutions of his father and mentor, which he combined with an ancient yet dynamic architectural design outlook. He translated these skills into strong buildings and structures that exuded great aesthetic values too. All these were focussed at catering to the requirement of the society for exclusive building complexes.
With an intention to remain conversant with the latest developments in his field and with a strong belief in a continual learning process, Uttam Kumar Paul participates in the various specialized and creative training seminars, both in India and abroad. His personal presence at the construction sites is his means of ensuring the proper materialization of his dream as an Architect. Many have admired his quest and sought his expertise in the design and construction of various IT Parks, Engineering Institutions and even NRI residences. He has great esteem for industrious people with the core desire to enhance the organization’s credibility.
